Black Estate Ltd.

We're a family farming three small vineyards on hillsides, 4 kilometres apart in Waipara, North Canterbury. These slopes have a range of clay and and various limestone soils.

Our names are Pen Naish and Nicholas Brown and we own Black Estate with our family. We live and farm with nature and with the land.

Our wines are not highly manipulated or processed, so we can taste real expressions of the land, our time and our community here.
